The Bikery is a community-driven project in Huntly run by the Charity Gordon Rural Action, dedicated to making cycling accessible, affordable and sustainable for everyone. From our renovated town-centre hub, we sell low-cost, fully serviced bikes, provide expert repairs and offer recycled cycling equipment that gives pre-loved bikes a second life. Every bike we sell or repair helps reduce waste, cut carbon emissions and promote healthier, more active lifestyles in our community.

We’re more than just a bike shop – we’re a place to learn, share and connect. Our Velotech-trained team runs skills workshops, supports volunteering and works with local partners to remove barriers to cycling. Whether you’re buying your first bike, learning to maintain your own or simply looking for a friendly space to explore cycling, The Bikery is here to help you ride with confidence and purpose.

The Bikery is part of a larger Charity, Gordon Rural Action, who are accountable to OSCR and Companies House. Gordon Rural Action have been providing free, confidential advice and support, tackling poverty, inequality and responding to the needs of our community since 1978. Charity No SCO04883.
